The new dog, Petunia, ran out of her house. She ran into the the mud hole. She watched as her humans and human pup came out of the house. They were shouting something at Petunia, but she didn't know what. All she could tell is that she did something bad, by the tones of their voices and the word "BAD DOG!" Petunia knew what she did was bad, but she couldn't help it, it was the pup who locked her up in the room when she really, really, Really, needed to go outside. It should be the pup getting yelled at! Petunia thought angrily.

Storm was on a stroll when he heard yelling "another dog and their evil humans" he thinks and pads up to the noise seeing a irish setter he tilts his head "Hey Las what happened?" he asks

"That's why me and my sister always liked being homeless" he barks "Well just stay low when i had humans and the pup did that i just stayed outside got the humans scared and came back home in like a hour" he barks

"I don't think I'm going back in about an hour." Petunia barked. She took a deep breath and went below the mud for a couple seconds. Petunia came back up, covered from head to tail with mud. No longer could you tell she was Petunia, except by her sscent.

Petunia looked at her house to see that the humans went inside. "Hey Storm, the humans went inside, want to do something like, like..." Petunia said, starting to feel hot under her fur.

"Like Playing in Dandelion Lane!" Petunia said quickly. It was a good answer, Petunia thought. The dandelion seeds would stick to her coat, now covered in mud, would help her hide from her humans. Chasing Cats on Catmint Street or birds and rodents on Sunflower Street would not cover her muddy fur with something. And if she went to the school, Human pups would probably be scared away by a big muddy dog coming towards them. Petunia jumped out of the mud hole. She desperately wanted to shake the mud off, but then her humans might see her red Irish Setter fur and know it was her.
(If you didn't know, Petunia has a crush on Storm.)

Dixie watched from a bush and her eyes widen "eww" she gags in her head
